Charlotte La Belle Araigne'e; French translation: "The Beautiful Spider" Has all the sexy stylish moves of a spider without the nasty bite! She calls from a number of eclectic influences being: Alice Cooper, Carol Burnett, Nina Hagen, and Elvira. She started her burlesque career at 19 while she was going to school for Fashion Design in Westwood California. Deciding she was much more happier on stage than behind a sewing machine she began to take her act on the road. She has graced stages all across the U.S.A. as well as Canada, Jamaica, London, and Italy. She has performed and competed in The Exotic World Pageant ( Burlesque Hall Of Fame ), Tease-O-Rama, The New York Burlesque Fest, and the annual Viva Las Vegas Rockabilly Festival 5 years in a row. She produced her own show, "Buckingham Burlesque" for 8 years and toured with the infamous band The White Trash Debutantes. Charlotte has been featured in the Canadian documentary "Everything Burlesque" and Guerrilla Monster Films "Shine on Sweet Starlet". She has appeared in Bizarre and Pin Up America magazines, Trevor Jansen's book "My Kinda Girl" and Tony Marisco's " Wild Things: Burlesque Beauties And The Pets They Love" on display at last year's Tiki Oasis. Lately, Charlotte has been performing with the wildly popular Los Angeles based Star Wars parody show "Star Girls" as Darth Vader! She also hosts a seasonal radio show on KSPC 88.7FM called "The Fluffy Marshmallow Nap-Sac" highlighting underground Rockabilly, Tiki Lounge, and Surf music. Mixing it up with classic burlesque and her own brand of performance art, she continues to wow audiences in the US and abroad with her energy and experience.
