Hang Loose: Craft a Bohemian Macramé Planter

Presented by Robert and Asia Estigoy of ToshWerks

Join San Diego Craft Pioneers ToshWerks and create your very own Bohemian Macramé Plant Hammock! It's a unique and sustainable way to display your favorite houseplant! Participants will choose from a wide variety vintage macrame cords, jute, twine, or cotton cord to create a one of a kind functional work of art.   Learn the introductory knots of macrame to create an attractive hanging basket. Then we'll add a beautiful tropical plant in a real coconut shell to complete the ensemble. A perfect addition to your home or Tiki Hut!

ToshWerks is a Southern California-based art and design studio, formed by Rob and Asia in 2002. With a passion for promoting literacy and arts education throughout the community, they have spent the last two decades making awesome art and teaching other people how to make marvelous creations of their own. You can often find them hanging around the public library presenting cool craft and art programs to the public.
