Explore the immersive world of 1960s psychedelic architecture, where interiors became spaces of sensuality, experimentation, and cultural transformation. From conversation pits and velvet lounges to basement bars, hidden rooms, and communal living environments, design began to reflect shifting social values and desires for connection, freedom, and play. Blending glamour with rebellion, this talk reveals how women helped shape these intimate, expressive environments.
CyndeLicious is a pin-up-model-turned-architectural storyteller who explores the sensual, subversive side of design. Crowned the final Bettie Page Look-Alike Champion at the 1996 Glamourcon, she later earned degrees in Architecture and City & Regional Planning from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. Now serving on the AIA Board of Directors, she brings glamour and scholarship together.
